Today I’m going to share both skincare and makeup recommendations because I believe that a beautiful makeup application is made more possible with a healthy skin canvas. Plus, unless you’re a huge makeup fanatic, sometimes you just want to go makeup free. Good skincare makes it easy to do that with a confidence that we all deserve.
The most important thing is to remember to stay authentic to you and the relationship you have with your loved ones. Regardless of the relationship that you’re celebrating, romantic or platonic or otherwise, remember that you know the relationship better than any advertisement or commercial. You love these people every day and you should be confident that you can show them better than anyone can tell you. Don’t let anyone but you determine the worth of how you show love!
There’s no question that 2020 was a doozy. Unfortunately, in some way or another, I don’t think anyone escaped the effects of 2020. My heart sincerely goes out to those of you who experienced loss of any kind. It has not been lost on me each day how lucky I am to wake up and do what I love here at Anuket Luxury Apothecary, for another day. Despite the hardships of the year, I hung on tightly to the stories of hope, success, and phoenixes rising from the ashes of one of the wildest years in modern history. While it’s so important to acknowledge where we came from and what we’ve been through, I’m a big believer in keeping my eyes ahead and putting one foot in front of the other. This is how I’ve gotten through so many things in my life. This is how so many of us got through 2020. Those little steps add up and I give them so much credit for where I am today. Before we dive headfirst into the New Year, I’d love to celebrate the wins that we pulled out of 2020. Who better to do that with than each of you!?
