If you’re a home fragrance junkie like me, I feel like I can safely assume that you’ve been acquainted with a linen spray. If you haven’t, prepare to get excited! I find that a lot of people think of linen sprays with just one or two of their typical uses but there are so many creative ways to use a linen spray in your home to enhance your home fragrance experience.
First things first, what is a linen spray? A linen spray is a fabric safe fragrance spray that softly scents anything with fabric around your home. A lot of people know it for one of it’s more traditional uses, scenting your sheets and pillows at night, but there are a myriad of other creative ways to use a linen spray, making it the perfect item to pick up for your home or even to give as a housewarming gift.

I am the biggest proponent for curating a sacred and enjoyable home space that caters to all of the senses. It is important to me that my home, and the things in it are full of scents that I enjoy.
We know that scent and memory are inextricably linked and I strongly believe that scenting your home in a way that feels good for you anchors the nervous system and reminds you that you’re in your safe space. This is really more than just a fancy spray, home enhancement items like linen spray are absolutely a form of self care.
Now that I’ve convinced you that you need one, let's talk about all of the traditional and outside the box places you can use a linen spray:
Curtains
Curtains can get musty and dusty but even if you’re great at staying on top of that, adding a spritz of spray to your curtains adds an extra layer of fragrance to any room you’d like, especially when the sun warms the fabric and releases the scent! This is a great tip for rooms that you spend a lot of time in or do a lot of entertaining in.
Upholstery
Pets? Kids? Messy partner? No worries, freshen up that loveseat with your linen spray to keep it smelling like new.
Carpets
Spraying your carpets is another way to lightly scent your favorite rooms while also combatting odor from pets and general foot traffic.
Linen Closet
Get a head start on great smelling sheets and towels by spritzing down your linen closet. Putting away laundry just got significantly more pleasant!
Bedding
Use a calming spray on your bed linens in the evenings as a part of your evening wind down routine. Or pick something sensual, like Anuket's signature scent papyrus that is an aphrodisiac, to spice things up in the bedroom and set the mood.
Doorway Rugs
Spritzing your doorway rugs is just another way to enhance each new room in your home and cover up any residual outside smell from foot traffic.
Refresh Hanging Clothes
If your clothes or your dry cleaning have been sitting too long, a linen spray can freshen them up and prevent that stale closet smell that we all want to avoid.
Car Interior
This is one of my favorite tricks that is often overlooked. A little goes a long way with linen spray in the car. The warmth of the sun will kick up the fragrance on a day to day basis and your car will smell amazing every time you hop in. Leather seats? No worries! Just spritz the floor mats. Your commute just got a little less stressful!
Artificial Flowers and Plants
While fresh flowers and plants are lovely, they aren’t always practical for everyone. Silk arrangements can be both a beautiful addition to a home and a perfect place to spry linen spray at the base to add another pop of fragrance to the room.
